PANTAI BEBAS PARAPAT
Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) telah merampungkan penataan Ruang Terbuka Publik (RTP) Pantai Bebas Parapat Kabupaten Simalungun, Provinsi Sumatera Utara (Sumut). Hal ini merupakan komitmen Kementerian PUPR untuk terus mempercantik Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional (KSPN) termasuk Destinasi Pariwisata Super Prioritas (DPSP) Danau Toba sebagai destinasi wisata unggulan. Prinsip penataan kawasan wisata ini adalah merubah wajah kawasan dengan cepat, terpadu dan memberikan dampak bagi ekonomi lokal dan nasional.
Penataan RTP di Pantai Bebas Parapat yang memiliki daya tarik keindahan pemandangan Danau Toba ini dikerjakan di atas lahan seluas kurang lebih 10.150 m2 oleh Balai Prasarana Permukiman Wilayah (BPPW) Sumatera Utara Direktorat Jenderal Cipta Karya. Pekerjaan dimulai sejak 21 Oktober 2020 hingga 3 November 2021 dengan biaya sebesar Rp84,6 miliar oleh Penyedia Jasa PT. Wijaya Karya Bangun Gedung dengan Konsultan Supervisi PT. Yodya Karya (Persero) KSO PT. Saranabudi Prakarsaripta.
Pantai Bebas Parapat berada di Kota Wisata Parapat di seberang Danau Toba di wilayah Kabupaten Simalungun, berjarak 186 Km dari Kota Medan dengan waktu tempuh sekitar 3 jam 25 menit melalui Jalan Tol Medan - Kualanamu - Tebing Tinggi.

This is the Ministry of PUPR's commitment to continue to beautify the National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) including the Super Priority Tourism Destination (DPSP) Lake Toba as a leading tourist destination. The principle of structuring this tourist area is to change the face of the area quickly, in an integrated manner and have an impact on the local and national economy.
The arrangement of the RTP on the Parapat Free Beach, which has the attractiveness of the beautiful view of Lake Toba, was carried out on an area of approximately 10,150 m2 by the North Sumatra Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW) Directorate General of Human Settlements. The work started from October 21, 2020 to November 3, 2021 at a cost of Rp. 84.6 billion by Service Provider PT. Wijaya Karya Builds Building with Supervision Consultant PT. Yodya Karya (Persero) KSO PT. Saranabudi Prakarsaripta.
Parapat Free Beach is located in Parapat Tourism City across from Lake Toba in the Simalungun Regency area, 186 Km from Medan City with a travel time of about 3 hours 25 minutes via the Medan - Kualanamu - Tebing Tinggi Toll Road.
