Welcome to part nine of the basement makeover! I finally finished all the construction stuff down there, so it's officially time to design the seating area. In this vid, I kinda break down every design decision and talk about where everything is from, so if you're looking for some timeless design ideas, hopefully this video gives you some inspo. All I gotta say is that I'm super pumped that our seventies dream space is really starting to shape-up. I already love it and we're only halfway there.

A little backstory on me ... I’ve been living and working in NYC for the past eighteen years, but with everything going on in the world 😷 I decided to take a little break from Brooklyn and buy my first home in Milwaukee with my boo. That way he has a place to call home since he already lives here and I'll have a little escape to go to when I have downtime from work. I’m definitely not a carpenter by any means, but I do think I can accomplish what I have planned for this little house. I have big plans, so hopefully you’ll subscribe and join me on this journey of turning this old house into a home.
