In episodes 1 and 2 we’ve already looked at 1st impressions and decluttering and depersonalising your home. This time I’m talking about the importance of dressing and staging your property whether you’re renting or selling.

As a property finder I’ve helped hundreds of house hunters find their dream home in London and as a developer I’ve rented out or sold various developments, I see the situation from both sides and know exactly what people are looking for! 👀

My top tips as I discuss in the video are to establish your target audience and give them what they want to see in a property. Utilise space e.g at the top of everyone’s list right now is a place to work from home so create that space somewhere whether it’s a hallway, nook, 2nd reception or smaller bedroom. And show the size of a space, most of my properties have been reconfigured to add an extra bedroom, space is inevitably lost somewhere, so show the prospective buyer / renter that yes you can get a double bed in there! 🛏
