I left sub-tropical Brisbane for a 5 hour drive south in the search for snow. The snow setup wasn't perfect, and there was a chance of no snow at all; but I went with the gut and was rewarded with a good dump of snow in the Ben Lomond area, between Glen Innes and Armidale.
Skip to 3:51 for the start of the snow.
The next morning, the area was a beautiful winter wonderland, with a solid settling on the ground and trees in a dense fog. In the breeze it was very very cold!
This is something I try to do at least once a winter and it was great to catch a snowfall after it looked like covid-19 would keep us stuck near home for the whole season.
Enjoy... and really appreciate or your likes, comments and thank you for subscribing!
