I chased (and was chased by) storm after storm on October 31, 2020. I experienced 4 hailstorms; and Purga was lucky enough to experience 3 severe rated hailstorms in 3 hours.

But unfortunately the suburb of Springfield Lakes (very close to my home) was hardest hit this day. Huge hail in some cases bigger than softballs smashed roofs, cars and windows. Hundreds of millions of dollars... possibly over a billion dollars damage. I went through the area on my home and it was so sad... and really eye opening. The suburb's worst ever disaster.

The storms occurred after a lively period of thunderstorms to start the 2020 storm season off. As I type this, there's a lull, but it looks like thunderstorm activity will return near the middle of the month. Unlikely to be as bad as October 31, 2020.
