In this continuation of Beginning Music Theory, I cover how to build minor chords in relation to the major and minor scales. I explain where the minor scale comes from and how it fits into the major scale, then go into how the minor scale is built, followed by how to build the minor chord from that scale. I show this with 3 different fingerings of the new scale, which in turn gives us 3 fingerings of the new chord. I also talk about the 3 basic intervals that are present in the minor chord.
