This is part 3 of Chord Building, where we learn about diminished chords and where they come from in relation to the major scale. While I briefly touch on the diminished scale, the main focus is building the chord from the major scale's 7th mode (minor scale's 2nd), the Locrian mode. Just as in parts 1 and 2 of Chord Building, I share how to build this new scale in 3 different fingerings, how to build the new chord from each of those fingerings, and then explain its intervals.
