Stanley 220 Block Plane

Stanley offered variations of 220 block plane from 1898 thru 1984. These small planes are 7 inches long with a 1-5/8 inch iron. The Stanley block plane came in many different models including English ones. If you need a handy little block plane for small jobs these are easy to find and restore to working condition. Inspect before you buy, look for hairline cracks around the mouth. Also, inspect the threads on the adjustment screw which can be well worn.

Regarding the baking process, I had my little stove in my garage and opened the garage door a few times just to vent. It is a noticeable odor but certainly not “bad” or sickening.
