This video shows how I repaired a crankbait’s broken bill. A broken bill occurs when the crankbait strikes a rock when being retrieved. Casting toward a creek bank can also crack a hard plastic lure.

Part for this repair was purchased at Barlow's Tackle (barlowstackle.com).

The fish in question is oFISHially know as a Rock Bass. The defining characteristic of a Rock Bass is when it is hooked it will fight like crazy for 10 to 15 seconds then he will go limp as a dishrag. Still a fun fish. And they are good eating as well.

All video was captured and edited using an iPhone 8 Plus, an iMac with iMovie and Photoshop.
