This video explores movement training and all its permutations: the Ido Portal Method and movement culture, animal flow and "primal flow" routines, GMB, Vahva Fitness and more!

What are the benefits of moves like the "beast" or "bear crawl?" Should you add this type of movement training to your current routine? And where did it come from?

Movement training has different interpretations and definitions depending on who you ask. While Animal Flow has a set curriculum and a series of movements you can choose from, Ido Portal takes a much broader approach.

My take is that movement training simply means training to acquire new movements, and often learning to flow between those movements. This forces you to train in unique and interesting ways, to develop more core stability, mobility, and more. It's also the perfect antidote to a mostly sedentary lifestyle.

Let me know what you guys think about movement training in the comments down below: do you incorporate it in your own routines?
