One of my go-to, all-day-long practices is progressive relaxation, which means is squeezing your body and then releasing it. It’s a particularly effective technique for easing excess tension, and you can literally do it for 60 seconds at anytime. In the bathroom at work, on a phone call, in the car. In addition to letting go of tension, it’s a quick way to return to your breath, release armor, and feel more grounded and open.
