Self Compassion - Metta Inspired Practices - with Jillian Pransky

✨Experience Kindness & Connection ✨

This “Just Like Me” practice invites us to feel our connectedness and to consider that we are all human beings. This practice helps us to remember our shared humanity and our shared basic needs - to be safe, to be well, to be happy, to be peaceful and at ease - and to be loved.
All human beings at our foundation have this in common.
We know that a sense of separateness can lead to stress and states of chronic stress and anxiety.

Recognizing our interconnectedness is in the way that we think about other people - not necessarily being physically together with more people. This practice fosters this connectedness as we invite ourselves to recognize that just like me, all other people share the same desires to be safe, well happy, at ease, and to feel loved. This practice starts on our mat so that we can carry it into our lives and into the world, wherever we are.
