Hi friends. This week I wanted to share some habits that will make this year a more mindful, softer, healthier year for me.

I am not making any New Years resolutions this year (if you do: good on you! Please share them down below!). I do always have goals I am working towards. But I tend to not set them around the new year and more so according to my university schedule or personal circumstances.

I also think it important to say that this year we deserve to be softer to ourselves and take care of ourselves. There is no need to push hard every single year. God knows 2020 was hard enough and neither the pandemic nor many other big world-circumstances are fully solved yet. So I didn't want to add habits onto my plate that would make me feel even more overwhelmed or like I am not doing enough. I wanted habits that solidify my mental health and emotional wellbeing. Habits for my present self, not just habits for my future self and its' goals.

⌛ So in this video I talk about:
1:52 gratitude for myself
3:19 being softer to myself and understanding cyclicality
5:26 getting enough sleep
7:21 giving my mind time to wander
9:51 finding soft, easy movement every single day
