One way to improve workflow, and free up precious workbench space is to create mobile tool stands. My bench grinder and bench vice have both been attached to platforms that can be bolted, or clamped to any work surface. The mounting hole positions are identical. I used this mounting system in the design of the mobile tool stand, allowing me to change out the tools at will. I used scraps for this entire project, including steel from a basketball hoop, work out benches, and old shelving. It is attached to a spare tire from a vehicle that is no longer around. So far this has worked out great, and I think another build is in the near future.

Working with tools can be dangerous. Use extreme caution, and work smart. I'm not there to hold your hand, so you are on your own.
