I make another tangent glue up and make a small platter out of it.
Made from Walnut, Yellow Birch and Padauk.
I also made and adjustable sled for cutting tapered staves.
I show all the steps I used in making the turning and I show how the sled works as well.
I also hot glued tenons on the piece to hold it while doing the turning and then used denatured alcohol the help remove the hot glue.
I used Titebond III to glue it together. Some might use epoxy resin but the glue holds fine.

Finished with Spray Lacquer and Acks Abrasive Paste and Polish
I used bowl gouges and negative rake scrapers in the turning.
