This video is about the famous Mel Palani Temple located at Velliparambu in Kozhikode district ...
Mel Palani Sri Dandayudhapani Temple is located on the top of a scenic hill called Myladumkunnu, at a distance of 1.5 km from Velliparambu, 10 km from Kozhikode.
The first place to visit at the entrance of the temple is the Melpalani Math, where the beheading ceremony is performed, and road to the temple starts from here also.
Enjoying the beauty of the jungle, we descend many steps to the Sri Jnana Dandayudha Pani Temple on the top of the hill which is full of divine spirit.we can see hear,
Roads and structures similar to Palani temple. Road access for the elders is also provided here.

The Melpalani Temple was built by Sri Saravana Babaji for the benefit of the devotees. Today, Babaji's community is spread across Kozhikode, Bangalore, Bangalore, Coonoor, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Palani, Sharjah and London. Devotees from all over the world flock here.

Let We know something about the spirits in front of us ....

Sadhguru reminds us that when we come here for darshan, we have to climb stairs. In front of the foot can see vinayaka, you can break the coconut and pray in the stable and be satisfied and climb the step.
When you reach the center, you will see the idol of Idumba Swamy
When you reach the top of the stairs again, you will see the 18th step and the statue of Veera Pratapa Anjaneya Swamy on the top of the stairs.
The main offerings here are vetila mala, vada mala, butter, avil and kadali fruit.
If you walk a little further down the left side, you can see the pedestal of Bhogar Swamy.
When you reach Sannidhanam by climbing the stairs again, you can see the centuries-old spirit-filled bridge tree, to the west of which is the idol of Balaganapati and to the east is the shrine of Lord Shiva. There is also a brick pedestal where sages and deities performed penance.
When Sadhguru Saravana Babaji first reached Mayiladuthurai in 2005, he first sat on this pedestal with the concept of Ardhanareeswara.
This place is also the meeting place of the Saiva and Vaishnava Shakti deities and is home to a palm tree and a brick pedestal.
It is believed that circling this bridge with 3 coconuts 7 times around the tree and praying in the stable is the best offering for all home remedies and all prosperity.
Guru Peetham is a small temple located to the south-west of the Pala tree. The six feet high veil made of Panchaloha seen here symbolizes the presence of the Navagraha deity. This Vail was brought from the 6 houses of Lord Murugan to be worshiped. In the presence of this Guru, a sincere pooja in the concept of Babaji is performed, and the candle inside is another specialty.
The Naga Temple was the first temple to be built on the Mayiladuthurai hill concept. Every month, a special Naga Puja is performed here under the auspices of Ayilyam Nakshatra. Many people come the temple, from far to witness this Ayilya Puja.
The main annual offering here is the serpent sacrifice and one hundred milk as well as turmeric powder, oil, broth and milk.
Behind the Gurupeeth, there is a special place for the concept of Goddess Gulikan. A special pooja is held every Friday at 6 pm in front of the pill.
Sri Murugan is the main deity of Mayiladuthurai. If you enter the Valli Deva Sena Mandapam here, you can see the main shrine facing directly to the west. This temple is one of the few temples where the presence of Mars in the same sanctum sanctorum is blessed in the form of an idol and the presence of Saturn in the base pedestal.
In this temple, which is similar to the Palani hill, the poojas are performed in Palani with the same features as the poojas performed for 6 seasons. The Brahmin nobles of Tamil descent in Palani performed the rituals here and the subsequent daily poojas.
The temple opens at 6 in the morning and closes at 1 in the afternoon after all the poojas. At evening opens at 5pm and closes at 8:30 pm
Unlike the Kerala temple traditions, during the six poojas, the bells are rung in the bell-shaped mandapam in the courtyard of the temple, the deity is awakened by chanting Othuvar Tirupus and Thevars in the Tamil style, and the procession is closed by reciting the Nilambari Raga.
Mayiladuthurai Kunnilamma The Mayiladuthurai hill station is nestled under a nelly tree on the north side of the main temple. The upper castes of Kodungallur come once a year to pay homage to their mother.
Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir is another important hill station in Mayiladuthurai. Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Sai Baba. Scholars from Shirdi perform rituals here. In front of the temple is the Srichai Charan Mandir. The Navagraha spirit resides in the Akhanda Jyoti in this mandapam.
