Probably the one most have been waiting for, including us!

The light modular steel frame arrived all the way from Bloemfontein, and weighed in at a meager 250kg's. Thanks to Zaku, Hansie, and the team at GRS - we got the base assembled in less than an hour, and it fit perfectly onto the steel floor.

The frame is held together with stainless steel pop-rivets, and attached to the floor with self tapping pozi drive screws. To make sure the whole thing stayed together, GRS bent some corner strips from galvanized plate.

We took Betsy back to the farm to fabricate the steel rib cage for the water tanks (bladders) and now looking forward to clad the box with Chromadek that is specially profiled to increase the strength of the unit.

a huge thank you to Siteform for sponsoring the frame, and GRS for making it all happen.

Our goal is to set off in February of 2023 on the first global stem cell donor recruitment drive, in the hopes of finding matches for blood cancer patients that have to undergo stem cell transplants.
