These five things are what makes a lifted Subaru worthy. The same goes for most vehicles and possibly in a different order of preference. The older chassis allows for some substantial height modification have lateral control arms in the rear. You can really see how the front controls hang down low like a side by side.

The amount of functionality of the lift is really noticed on the trail. No small obstacle is an issue anymore. Some care is needed for some of the deeper ruts, especially without a front skid plate.
