Friends, from today we are starting a series of recipes based on the ancient science called " AYURVEDA " .
Ayurveda was found 5000 years ago in Ancient India and then spread across different parts of the world, especially Asia. Ayurveda is a combination of two words Ayur = Life and Veda = Science of Knowledge. Ayurveda is a complete holistic healing system that mainly focuses on offering a healthy lifestyle. Ayurveda believes in the famous saying " Prevention is better than cure ".

Ayurveda has all types of elements which help you lead a healthy life. In Ayurveda we can eat basic things like ghee, honey, butter along with spices and herbs , to improve your life.

Ayurveda is very effective and can offer long term health benefits when used properly. Ayurveda is so effective because it fights the cause of a disease rather than the symptoms. This Science of Ayurveda believes that the human body is made of 5 Natural Elements (5E) which are Water, Air, Fire, Earth and Space (In hindi we can say Jal, Vayu, Agni, Prithvi , Aakash ).

So today we are making our first recipe based on the above 5 Elements (5E) of our human body and that's why we have named our recipe as " 5E Ayurvedic Curry Powder " which can be used while making any curry . We will use this 5E Curry Powder to make 5E Curry Powder Soup which would be our next recipe.

5E Ayurvedic Curry Powder:

INGREDIENTS:
Cumin Seeds / Jeera (powdered) - 8 tsp
Coriander Seeds / Dhania (powdered) - 8 tsp
Fennel Seeds / Saunf (powdered) - 8 tsp
Dried Ginger / Saunth / Adrak (powdered ) - 4 tsp
Turmeric Powder / Haldi - 4 tsp
Amla Powder / Indian Gooseberry Powder - 4 tsp

PREPARATION :
Mix all these powders together and keep in an airtight container.
