This is the Angas Road level crossing at Hawthorn, located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. There are two different tracks at the crossing, the eastern track is the broad gauge passenger line from Adelaide to Belair, while the western track is the ARTC standard gauge line from Adelaide to Melbourne.

The crossing has quite an odd and interesting mixture of equipment. All lights are incandescent, while both bells ring from start up until the gates have risen.

Eastern gated signal: Western Cullen Hayes base, GRS gate mechanism, NEG gate lights and a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell. The signal has one pair of GRS Lex-C lights and one pair of Western Cullen Hayes lights which are mounted on GEC brackets.

Eastern gate-less signal: Western Cullen Hayes base (also with Federal Signal logo) and one pair of GRS Lex-C lights which are mounted on a McKenzie & Holland bracket.

Western gated signal: Western Cullen Hayes base, GRS gate mechanism, NEG gate lights and a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell. The signal has three GRS Lex-C lights and one GEC light which are mounted on GEC brackets.

Western gate-less signal: GRS base and one pair of GRS Lex-C lights which are mounted on a McKenzie & Holland bracket.

Gate-less signal in southwest quadrant: Unmarked base and one pair of Western Cullen Hayes lights which are mounted on a McKenzie & Holland bracket.

Train information: Apart from two freight trains, all other trains are Adelaide Metro passenger services to/from Belair.

1st freight train: 2MP5 freight from Melbourne to Perth, with locomotives NR118, NR6 and G538.

2nd freight train: Genesee & Wyoming grain hoppers, hauled by locomotives GWA003, CLP16, CLP17 and GWA006. I'm not sure of the train number or destination, although it is most likely heading to Tailem Bend.
