Here's something non-presidential (!) and a filled request...the Walt Disney song. When I wrote the song, I thought after listening it through, it might've sounded a little melancholy. I added brass and a harp to dress it up a bit. Hope you enjoy it!

In a small Chicago home, December 5th, 1901
Arrived Walter to the Disney family, was their fourth son
As a boy, Walt loved to draw, in some art classes, he enrolled
And at 18, as a commercial illustrator, his work was sold

In the ‘20s, brother Roy and he moved their studio to LA
‘28 came Mickey Mouse, ‘Steamboat Willie’, his third screenplay
Three years earlier, Walt met, fell for, and made Lillian his wife
Had Diane and adopted Sharon later in their life

Walt made more Mickey Mouse cartoons but thought of better ways
In ‘37, his Snow White feature film would get high praise
Then, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, and shorts made for the war
But, as losses mounted his studio’s profits went through the floor

The banks helped Walt out, and Cinderella came in ‘50
And also live action films that the public lined up to see
But, then, a theme park,his dream to be built in Anaheim
Named Disneyland, in ‘55, gates opened for the first time

A decade later, Disney World and EPCOT, he planned
A futuristic community on Florida land
But, in ‘66, from years of smoking, cancer took his life
On the 15th of December, left his kids, grandkids and wife

Walt’s legacy is obvious to most of those on Earth
22 Academy Awards, one small sign of his worth
His skill to entertain children and adults all the same
Made Walt a Cultural icon along with his last name
