This time, Yohana and I took a mini road trip from the lively streets of Yogyakarta to the awe-inspiring Borobudur Temple. Picture this: an ancient Buddhist temple surrounded by lush greenery, and there we were, all geared up to explore... only to find out it's closed on Mondays! 🙈 Whoops, should've checked that first. But hey, adventure's name isn't 'plan', right?

Instead of the temple stairs, we ended up on a charming horse carriage ride around the park. Not quite what we planned, but absolutely magical. And get this, we stumbled upon this local guy who introduced us to a nut tree that's been standing for over 200 years. He cracked one open for us to try - talk about a taste of history!

Trying to leave Borobudur felt like escaping from a maze, a maze of souvenir shops tempting you at every turn. I swear, it was like running an obstacle course with all the willpower I had not to buy everything in sight.

Next up was Prambanan, but not before navigating through yet another sea of shops. Honestly, it was half the fun. We also found this cute little zoo and a boat museum right there! Who knew?

So, we didn't exactly get to pray at Borobudur or marvel at the intricate carvings of Prambanan up close, but we got stories, laughter, and a bunch of unexpected memories that I wouldn't trade for the world. Stick around for the vlog; it's packed with all these quirky moments and some pretty neat finds. Hit subscribe to keep up with our escapades and find out what else Yogya has in store for us!

Catch you in the next one, where hopefully we check the opening hours first! 😂
