Little did we know, our path would diverge from the original plan. Instead of heading straight to Prambanan, our adventurous driver introduced us to the hidden gems scattered around the area, bypassing Prambanan entirely. Despite the detour, we embraced the spontaneity, uncovering the beauty and history of these lesser-known temples.

Determined to not miss out, we eventually made our way to Candi Prambanan ourselves. The sight that awaited us was nothing short of breathtaking. Standing tall against the backdrop of the setting sun, Prambanan's intricate carvings and towering spires left us in awe.
