Join me on an exhilarating journey as I face one of my biggest fears – heights. In this vlog, I conquer my fear by paragliding in the stunning landscape of Lombok, Indonesia.

The adventure begins with me contacting a paragliding pilot to make an appointment. Unfortunately, the wind is too strong, so we have to delay our flight by a few hours, which only adds to my nervousness. After a long wait, we head to the paragliding shop in Kuta Lombok. After a brief greeting, we jump into the car with the pilot and drive up a wild and rugged path to a cliff near Kuta Lombok. The drive, filled with great conversation, helps to calm my nerves.

Upon arrival, we are greeted by an insane view of Kuta and the ocean from the cliff. As the rest of the team arrives with the gear, things start to move quickly. I get suited up, linked to the pilot, prepare my GoPro, and off we go. Flying over the ocean in perfect weather conditions is an incredible feeling. I chat and laugh with the pilot until he suggests trying some stunts. I agree, and although swinging left and right is fun, it makes me feel a bit dizzy.

We enjoy the flight, discussing the Mandalika place below us, Kuta, and the pilot’s family. When it’s time to land, we face a challenge as the wind picks up. After two failed attempts, we finally managed to land. The experience is amazing, but as soon as we land, I realize my hands are shaking uncontrollably.
