We hit the Browns Ranch preserve once again, starting from the Dynamite & Pima trailhead. This ride was a short , but eventfull one. From a rare cactus sighting, to sessioning obstacles, to mechanical issues, to Scott running out of water and crashing.
We headed out northeast on Latigo Trail, up to several special points of interest , and then diverted onto West Express Trail, with cameo appearances by Dare A Sarah, Scorpion, Taranchula, and Snake Eyes trails. Theres a lot of fun to be had out on those little loops and along the way. You can pick your poison out amongst lots of granite boulder strewn hills and outcroppings. At a number of locations the trail splits with options for and easier route or a more difficult section with an obstacle or two. We've been out there several times before and are still learning the lay of the land, discovering little sections that will challenge your skills. It's quite a bit like the Diablo Trails, which we did a couple videos of, early on.
With so much to see and do in the area, we'll likely do another video out there, hitting some of the stuff we've since discovered.
If you wanna test your skills and view some great scenery, I can't recommend doing this little trek enough. Intermediate to advanced riding skills are needed, to negotiate even some of the easier stuff. I can'twait til it cools down so we can get back out there and do a proper explorations.
