Did a great little out and back on Hawknest trail, starting at the trail head near Pima and Dynamite. It was lots of fun with plenty of winding curves and big rollers, not to mention more than a few tight passages between granite boulders. I'd compare it to '136th Street Express' or 'Branding Iron', but on a much bigger scale. See    • 136th St. Express, Renegade , & Despe...   for comparison. It was a bit cold and windy, but we had a great tme. We're definitely going back to do a little more exploring there, on the west side of the preserve.
