The Central American and Caribbean Crop Improvement Alliance, which, by its acronym in English, is known as the CACCIA Project, aims to integrate science and technology applied to plant breeding, to contribute to food security in productive crops, nutritious and resilient to climate change. The Project is supported in turn by the Innovation Laboratory for Crop Genetic Improvement of Cornell University and the cooperation of the Feed The Future program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), contribution that has made its execution and success possible. This project is executed by INTA in conjunction with the Quisqueya University of Haiti.
