Part I of II in a special series that I'm releasing on Chrono Trigger (1995, SNES), in ASMR (whispered) format; this will cover the entirety of the game, as best as it can within ~3 cumulative hours. I thought this would be much more entertaining/digestible than a series of rambles formatted as a let's play, and more fulfilling for me as a hobbyist/amateur creator.
This part covers about 2/3 of the plot (~20 hours), up until Chrono's climactic response to Lavos' first awakening.
I spent over 10 hours putting all this together, not counting the time spent playing the game.
Let me know what you think of this format/entry, as I'm considering doing some other specials for other important games - or other media - from my library. A sort of video-essay style of ASMR rambling, I suppose.
Also, let me know how you feel about the sound mixing. I didn't proof it too hard, but it came out sounding alright to me as far as I can tell. The next part should be much cleaner, since there should be far less cuts as we move out of plot-rich sections of the story.
Overall, a lovely RPG for ASMR - the music, the art, the brevity - it's paradise!

-I am playing a patched ROM (Lavos' Awakening) to serve as a hardmode, as I've beaten the game multiple times already. The next part will cover more of the convolutions that arise from the patch, since there will be more late-game encounters showcased.
-Has some keyboard and gum chewing sounds dispersed throughout.

Credit for some footage goes to Spazbo4 on WorldOfLongplays: • SNES Longplay [102] Chrono Trigger (p... . I had to record a lot of stuff that I didn't get footage of, in order to fill in a lot of gaps in plot.
Square, of course, deserves credit for owning the IP (duh).
Last but not least: Akira Toriyama, manga artist behind Dragon Ball, for having a crucial role in the design of this hailed creation.
