This game is perfect... and that perfection maintains itself 27 years after its release. What's interesting, though... is that of all the things that Chrono Trigger is appreciated for, the story tends to be the lesser of the elements. I understand why this is: it's because the best parts of the story are only unlocked by a considerable effort. If you make the choice to find those pieces of story content, you will be handsomely rewarded.
