I've read all your comments asking for more in depth colour mixing, and was so excited to create this video because I knew it'd be perfect for breaking down some colour theory due to the many shades of white that were used. This tutorial contains a full section on mixing colours, starting at the 1:14 mark. I am so excited to teach more colour mixing in greater detail in a future acrylic flower painting course, which I plan on developing over the next few months...stay tuned!

If you'd like to skip straight to the timelapse, head over to the 5:10 mark.

This is "Marilyn Monroe," the third and final painting in the floral portion of my Square Foot Show series, which I've titled the Radiance Collection. This is painting number 6 of 12, and I have 6 paintings left to create in this online exhibition. However, I will be hitting pause of the remainder of this show until 2022...watch from 10:05 onward to see why! I am giving a sneak peek of the studio tour that will be coming to YouTube soon.

This painting can be modified to be an acrylic flower painting tutorial; simply work in multiple thin layers, as opposed to blending in the first shot. You can also see the Peonies tutorial for a detailed look at how to paint flowers in acrylic:    • Peony Acrylic Painting Tutorial + Tim...

I hope you enjoy, feel free to connect with me and let me know how I can support you on your own artist's journey! Tag me in any completed paintings that were inspired by this video so I can enjoy your artwork.
