Welcome to my dahlia acrylic painting tutorial and timelapse! In this floral painting lesson, I will cover how to paint a large dahlia using a limited palette. I absolutely love painting flowers, and working with acrylic can present challenges with blending the paint, but with a few tips and tricks it can be managed to create a lovely, realistic result. This tutorial is geared towards beginner to intermediate painters, and you can download my reference photo for free through this link: https://view.flodesk.com/pages/617da4...

This video predominantly covers color mixing and blending, but also includes some of the difficulties that I encountered while trying to light the painting and film it in the new studio space.
