Hello my new friend😉👐
In this video, I will show you 3 basic watercolor techniques of transparent and botanical painting.

1. Wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry technique - these are the two main and most important watercolor techniques.
I use the wet-on-wet technique to fill large areas of a drawing or when I need to smoothly introduce and combine two different shades in one area.

It is worth noting that the wet-on-dry technique is also used by students of architectural academies when designing buildings. I use wet-on-dry technique for painting small areas of a drawing, for painting small details of a drawing with watercolors and textures.

2. Layering or glazing technique. Layers - the best way to build tone in watercolor: depth, volume and tonal relationships between objects)

3. Going to zero or from dark to light - this technique is used by botanical artists. This is the most delicate and very important technique, which allows you to create a falling and your own shadow, as well as show a rotation of tha shape of an object
