I'll show you how to prepare tender pork fillet with vegetables and the perfect homemade sweet and sour sauce in less than 20 minutes. Ingredients:

1 pork fillet
Oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
250g shallots
2 cloves of garlic
1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
150ml cold water
1 tbsp cornstarch
For the Sweet and Sour Sauce:

75g sugar
75ml rice vinegar
3 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 small can of pineapple
Preparation:

Slice the pork fillet into finger-thick slices and mix with oil and 1 tbsp soy sauce in a bowl.

Wash, core, and cut the red and green bell peppers into medium-sized pieces. Peel the shallots and leave them whole.

For the sweet and sour sauce, mix sugar, rice vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and pineapple juice in a bowl.

Mix 150ml of water and 1 tbsp of cornstarch separately.

Finely chop the garlic, grate the ginger.

Heat a pan or wok, add the marinated meat and shallots. Sear the meat on high heat for about 3-4 minutes on both sides.

Add the bell peppers with garlic and ginger and cook for about 2 minutes.

Pour the prepared sweet and sour sauce over the vegetables and meat. Bring to a boil briefly.

Add water with cornstarch and simmer for about 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Finally, stir in the pineapple pieces.

Serve the dish hot with rice or a side dish of your choice.
