On Tuesday 16th April 2024, steam locomotive BB18 ¼ 1037 was fired up for a day of checks and to make the locomotive ready for its eventual return to the mainline in the coming weeks.

The day culminated with several runs up and down the yard track to check out the operation of the newly adjusted brakes.
