Abandoned and forgotten on an old dirt road, I found a panel from a New Holland baler. Based on the lettering I believe it is from the mid to late 80's.

I used the skids (not sure that is the correct term) from a pallet and built a frame with mitered corners and a dowel for some added strength. The frame is rough sanded and stained with a red oak. It is finished off with a coat of wipe on polyurethane. The panel itself was pretty rusted on the edges, and it had a few bends and rolls that needed to be removed. After using a cut off wheel to clean the edges, I pre-drilled some mounting holes and sprayed the surface with the gloss clear coat. Two hangers will hold the sign on the wall.
