Ingredients
*kantola( spiny gourd)
*1 small onion chopped
coriander leaves
mustard N cumin seeds
tamarind pulp
hing
salt to taste

Method
wash kantola and cut slices
in a pan, heat about 2-3 tsp of oil
add mustard N cumin seeds
add chopped onion, red chilly pod N coriander leaves.
saute
add salt N hing
add sliced kantola
mix well.
add little water, cover with lid and let it cook for, 3-4 mins
once it is half cooked, add dry masalas as coarsely grounded coriander seeds powder, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, garam masala.
add tamarind pulp and cover with lid.
let it simmer on low flame for 3-4 mins.
*again add water( if needed) .
let it cook on slow flame for few more mins.
garnish with coriander leaves.
