Join us on a walk along the River Arun in and around South Stoke in West Sussex.

Due to its cinematic nature, this video is best watched on a large screen such as a TV, to fully appreciate the visual detail and immersive aural experience we try to convey.

Our little dog has not been well for some time, and is unable to walk far, so this walk continues our series of short walks focusing on the River Arun.

We started the walk at Offham (The Black Rabbit) and proceeded to South Stoke and North Stoke, and returned along the banks of the River Arun to Offham. Due to cattle in a field, we were unable to walk the planned route from Offham along the river, but had to double-back and take the road to South Stoke.

Superficially, this section of the river may appear to lack the architecture of, for example, Arundel, but the churches at South and North Stoke contain history dating back, in parts, to C11 and possibly earlier.

At this time of year the butterflies are out in force. Those we filmed were not rare species but beautiful all the same.

All background and natural sounds were recorded during our time filming.

We hope you enjoyed watching as much as we enjoyed walking. If you did, please remember to click the thumbs up (like) button, and comment.
