Join us on a walk along the River Arun from Ford to Arundel in West Sussex.

Due to its cinematic nature, this video is best watched on a large screen such as a TV, to fully appreciate the visual detail and immersive aural experience we try to convey.

Our little dog continues to struggle with longer walks (she loves her bed!), so this is another short walk along a stretch of the River Arun.

We started the walk at the C11 church of St Andrew's in Ford. It is just a short walk from there to the little marina, with its few houseboats and a handful of moorings. A pontoon exists now, but there appears to be remains of a jetty.

Moving on from the marina, the river meanders its way through rather flat, and not particularly interesting, countryside. We always have our eyes open for any form of life, whether it be animal, bird, insect or plant, but even we struggled to find a great deal to interest on yet another very windy day.

The butterflies continue to be out in abundance, and we were lucky enough to spot a Common Darter dragonfly warming in the early morning sun. We also captured a Reed Warbler, birds that we often hear but rarely see.

All background and natural sounds were recorded during our time filming.

We hope you enjoyed watching as much as we enjoyed walking. If you did, please remember to click the thumbs up (like) button, and comment.
