interesting fact about this church once they were originally a ring of 8 but they are now a ring of 12 these bells hardly ever get rung because they don't get any ringers I called the person in charge of the church to arrange this because they don't have a tower captain at the moment it was just me mum the ringer and dad the ringer today also mum the ringer is going to start learning to ring soon also in the middle when I was doing the coils to ring up the 10th dad the ringer knocked the start stop button with his finger by mistake that's why the clip has it from not ringing getting the coils to ringing up straight away i expected these bells to be stiff and hard to get up right because they hardly ever get rung but they were easy to ring and get up right this tower also used to have an Ella combe chime as you can see from at around 07:10 also this was the first time ive rung at st marys the Magdalene parish church in Broughton in Furness i plan to do this sort of vid at st james barrow in Furness when i get the chance
