Some ringing from Saturday 1st December on the fine octave at Borden, Kent. A decent quarter of 1260 Grandsire Triples was scored, just about, in 44 minutes. I offered to ring the tenor and I learnt very quickly why it was free! A 22cwt ring of 8 hung on plain bearings in a wooden frame that jumps about all over the place is not fun however I really enjoyed the ringing and I would be happy to go back again. Just maybe not for a quarter... Notice Chris putting the clapper right at 1:01!
