Minster in Thanet holds a vintage and boomy ring of 5 which is tuned to a minor key which I personally think is very acceptable! They are tuned 1-5 of a ring of 6. The bells themselves are very very difficult, requiring lots of pulling and straight arms but on the plus side they was very easy to handle! The bells were cast in 1626 & 1636 by Joseph Hatch of Ulcombe except the 4 which was cast in 1561 by William Oldfield of Canterbury. For anyone planning to visit these bells you just need to pull hard, but when struck well these are very rewarding!
