Home Hade Hummus
Pre-empting requests for the recipe for Hummus made properly here are the ingredients:

1 Tin (240g) chick peas rinsed
1 Tablespoon of Tahini (light or dark)
A Splash of lemon juice (you can always add more later to taste)
1 Clove Garlic
Salt to taste, as with the lemon juice you can always add more later

Feel free to add anything else you fancy to flavour your hummus.

Whiz everything together with a food processor or with a hand blender in a large pan. I prefer my hummus quite firm so I can spread it on anything I fancy so I don't use any oil but if you want to thin it down and use as a dip add some olive oil or water if you are watching the weight! Once you have made your own a few times you will know how much lemon juice and salt to add for future batches and once tasted, you'll never buy shop bought hummus again!
