G'day! Today I Tackle the Small Workshop Halloween Challenge and the Aussie 4x2 Challenge with this simple project. I wanted to make something practical for this Halloween so what better than a Bat Box.

Built from plans available from the Bat Conservation Trust this Bat Box meets the criteria required for British Bat species. I am using 4x2 timber so as to meet the Aussie 4x2 Challenge but the project would be much simpler and easier if 200x25mm sawn timber was used as stated in the plans.

The Bat Conservation Trust is a registered British charity dedicated to the conservation of bats and their habitats in the UK. It was founded in 1991 and is the only national organisation solely devoted to bats.
