Alex Perez had some of the worst luck in the UFC in terms of getting into the Octagon. He had some long periods of inactivity with fights falling out for a variety of reasons.

He'll meet Tatsuro Taira on Saturday in the main event of UFC Vegas 93 at Apex in his third bout of the year, following a loss to Muhammad Mokaev and a win over Matheus Nicolau.

He discusses Taira's game and his strengths, the way he has dealt with all of the postponements and inactivity and how he's handled adversity.
