Vintage Torpedo Level
This torpedo level has a boat like body made of walnut and capped with aluminum. The length is 8-7/8” (22.5mm) by 1-1/8” (3mm). The walnut has the name “RAY” whittled prominently on one side. The three spirit vials are glass with yellow tinted liquid and have two parallel lines drawn around their centers. I purchased this torpedo level at a local flea market for US$2.50.
This restoration took about 2 hours not including the paint drying time.
All video was captured and edited using an iPhone 8 Plus, an iMac with iMovie and Photoshop.
