Parents who have lost a baby before 24 weeks of pregnancy can now apply for an official baby loss certificate. In this video, Malin Andersson, an ambassador for the charity Sands, explains why the baby loss certificate is so important.
The baby loss certificate is currently available for parents who have lost a baby under 24 weeks since 1 September 2018 in England.
We're looking to expand eligibility to earlier losses as soon as we can.
