Ex-smoker Niki Thwaites suffers from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a lung condition that causes breathing difficulties.

Having quit the addiction, she welcomes government plans on creating a #SmokefreeGeneration to protect future generations from the harms of smoking and the many health problems it causes.
