Brainomix’s e-Stroke uses a set of tools utilising AI methods, including machine learning and deep learning, to interpret acute stroke brain scans. It also provides a platform for doctors to share information between hospitals in real-time. It is currently being used in nine Stroke Networks, which is nearly half of all the networks in England. The AI Award has enabled them to access five of these networks and the AI Award trial is testing and evaluating e-Stroke’s software to analyse its readiness for deployment in the NHS and providing patient and user feedback to Brainomix.
