This video is cut down from months of filming, i started off with about 10 hours of raw footage i whittled down to try and make it a bit more viewer friendly.
A lot of trial and error went into this! If there is enough interest i will do a more specific setup video but this was more about the process to complete the gun more than anything else.
Aluminium anodising is where you make the work-piece become the anode and electrically increase the size of the oxide layer, once you have a big oxide layer you can leach die into it.
I have always found anodising to be fascinating ever since looking at the fancy bike parts that were for sale when i was younger.

The process is simple but hard, i do defiantly recommend anodising aluminium for all the home shop diy enthusiast especially if you are getting into metal smelting or casting because it is a great way to finish metal.
The size and scale of your operation will depend on your budget but i think its achievable for most people watching!

Hope you enjoy the video
Thanks for watching.
