One of my first practice sessions trying out the yari. I have absolutely no training in its proper use, but I figure if I am going to learn to use my armor, I better learn about the spear.
I have a feeling my forward hand is too far up the shaft. I’ll have to look into this.
Of course, my “yari” is a piece of bamboo with tape on it, but it does a good job representing the spear.
If you are an experienced yari user, please feel free to give advice (or study material), I am happy to learn.
